The easily removable slots are aligned to allow for up to 4 sprinkler lines from the valve manifold. Simply remove the appropriate amount of slots for your installation and insert your 1, 3 4, or 1 2 inch lines. No special tools are required. Comes with 2 mousehole covers that can be easily snapped out
