A 65Th Regiment, Carabiniers Mont-Royal (Mount Royal Rifles) Helmet Plate With Queen's Crown, C.1889 Auction 82 mm (w) x 45In die stamped bronze gilt, unmarked, voided, measuring 74. 3 mm (w) x 110 mm (h), both lugs intact, exhibiting light contact, scattered gilt wear, spotting and greening, better than very fine. The design of this badge is illustrated on page 133 of "Canadian Militia Badges Pre 1914" by Daniel Mazeas (un coded).
