Most of the recipients of the Medal of Bravery were miners and draegermen
measuring 53 mm x 283 mm overall
Italy, Kingdom. A 1St Army Commemorative Cross 1915-1918 Archive worn on its original ribbon(Croce commemorativa della 1a armata). Instituted in 1924. In bronze gilt with white and purple enamels, maker marked "L. FASSINO TORINO" on the reverse, measuring 41 mm (w) x 44. 7 mm (h) inclusive of its integral ring, intact enamels, original ribbon, extremely fine.
