Germany, Wehrmacht. A Spanish Cross for Next of Kin, Spanish-Made, c. 1960 United Republic of Established by King Alfonso XII(Ehrenkreuz fr Hinterbliebene Deutscher Spanienkmpfer). Constructed of silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon with Spanish style buckle and pinback, consisting of a Maltese Cross, the obverse with pebbled arms joined together through the quadrants by droptrail style Luftwaffe eagles clutching mobile swastikas, bearing a central raised mobile swastika situated within dual rings, the reverse stamped with a silver content number
